Combine:
Mix with cream cheese and/or whipped toppings.
Ingredients:
Sugar, Gelatin, natural flavors and fruit or vegetable juice for coloring, Citric Acid.
(Contains natural fruit or vegetable juice for colors that may fade when exposed to light. Does not alter taste or quality).
No preservatives, NO MSG, No Salt.
Additional suggestions:
Can use it also as a fruit dip, cheesecake, fruit mousse, cake icing, parfait, bagel spread and more...
Recipe:
Raspberry Party Supreme.
Shortbread Crust.
3/4 cup of Margarine.
1 1/2 cup of flour.
1 1/2 cup finely chopped Walnuts.
One package of Golden Gate Gourmet Desserts Raspberry Dessert Mix.
Cut margarine and flour until blended well.
Cut in 1 cup of walnuts (Set remaining nuts aside).
Spread and pat firmly in a 8 X 10 glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees until light golden brown.
Cool completely.
Filling - first layer:
In a medium size bowl, dissolve content of a Golden Gate Gourmet Desserts Raspberry Dessert Mix with a 1/4 cup of hot tap water.
Add 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and blend until smooth.
Slowly fold-in 8 ounces of whipped topping.
Filling - second layer:
1 - 16 -20 oz can of Raspberry Pie filling.
Spread pie filing over set shortbread.
Refrigerate until "set" about 1 hour.
Topping:
1 - 8 oz. container thawed whipped topping.
Spread whipped topping over Raspberry filling and sprinkle with the remaining walnuts. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
Cut into individual servings 8 - 12.
Note: For perfect layered squares and time convenience, dessert can be prepared as much as 2 days before serving.
